Join us for this month’s Wake Up West Side, everyone’s favorite morning networking event. This month's host is Terrace Hill!
Completed in 1869, Terrace Hill has intrigued and inspired the public for over 150 years. Originally built as a private home in the rapidly growing city of Des Moines, the mansion now serves as the official residence of Iowa’s Governor and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2003. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to network in a setting rich with history and architectural beauty.
To attend, pre-registration is required at least 48 hours in advance, as Terrace Hill needs the first and last name of every guest ahead of time. Walk-ins will not be admitted, so please be sure to register early.
Please bring a photo ID with you when you arrive. It is required to enter the property.
Parking is available along the street or in the lot at the corner of Grand Avenue and Forest Drive. Please note that no vehicles will be allowed onto the property unless you have made prior arrangements with Terrace Hill staff due to accessibility needs.
Also, be aware that the elevator will be out of service during the event due to ongoing updates. If you are unable to use stairs, you will still be able to enjoy the main floor, but unfortunately you will not be able to access the second level.
We’re excited to see you there for a morning of coffee, connection, and community in one of Des Moines’ most historic homes!
